i know alot about aion but i never knew how long you can fly, but i do know this: the barriers are there because if you were to fly from that point in there you would be able to glitch through higher areas so they barrier places off from flight for small times
Unfortunately I do not remember the exact figures. Something about 2-3 minutes of the flight and same cooldown period, but some skills and items can increase the flying time.
as long as the NV stuff says.. the flying depends on the lvl u have.. quests and dono what give u more flying energy or something. since the 2 worlds r separated by abis .. they made this way not 2 fly 2 much 2 get into the enemy world at low lvl . also i think the energy for fly u get from abis by extracting some resources. Because of that Abis will be the main source of fight between fractions - the supremacy for the resources hehe - in Abis there r castles that can be conquered by the 2 fract
