Could you please send me schematics of modified ps2 controller you have used, i need to control a multi tasking bot with a ps2 remote.

believe me my controller is so much complicated that it takes a month to become familiar with it.

it was very simple, the PS2 controller was not modified but had wireles jamed into the plug to connect it to my circuit. all that needs to be done is pretty much ask the controller from your robot/chip for the buttons that are being pressed and the values on the analog sticks.

I need to control a robot with a ps2/3 controller too, except my robot is an underwaterROV, so I will have to utilize more controls. But your robot is the first step =)

I know C. BUt I have no idea where to learn how to do this on my own.

Sure I can help, with this project, all i had was the Microchip Development suite and google.

Interfacing the PS2 controller only required wires, where as the PS3 controller will require a bluetooth chip.
