Correctly identifying the patient is the most important step of medication administration or any other procedure you do. This will keep your nursing job from becoming a living hell. The first two students didn't ID patient. That would had saved them from almost making a med error. I hate feeding tubes. There are so many potential problems. But you do end up having people that have them in every setting. The demonstration with the last student and instructor was perfect. Thanks for posting.
