Borzois and Cheetahs are so similar in build, hunting strategy, metabolism, and ecological niche, I figured they'd get along. So I entered Borzoi Cheetah into search, et voila! So glad they have each other!

I agree. I had a cruel SOB by the name of KEITH CLARENCE ROBERTS put a staple in my borzoi's nose. I've never seen a dog react sooooo fast - had there been a wall there to stop him from falling backward - I think Korotai the Borzoi would have had no problem causing a bilateral carotid bleed. In play he had no trouble cracking a broom handle in two.

@InfectiousCranberry When I think about it, cats are still two classes above dogs. In terms of killing efficiency, power and speed. There are things at which Canidae outclasses Felidae of course, such as stamina.

I think the Cheetah has more to fear from the dog,these dogs were bred to catch wolf,believe me you never forget a borzoi bite,fortunately that is very rare.

@TheBorzoilover I agree with you too. People should stop worrying about the Borzoi! Cheetah's have the weakest bites of all the big cats - it's apparently barely stronger than a humans!
