  • If it were me, I'd probably go to the wedding anyway because of the fact that he was my friend, i mean, if I were you. But all the same I'd probably might let him know how I feel too.

In any case, you should go to the wedding. For your friend.

  • I agree with you there..I might go...but wont buy/rent a tux until I get an invitation!

  • I may have to make a video reply. What I want to say is too long for the comment section.

  • I would appreciate your POV

  • Well, I dated a gay guy for a while and I just couldn't live with him being "bi" or newly straight. In my gut I knew it couldn't work out... but this is his and her mistake to make. So as a friend, I suggest you support him no matter what he decides. And when he inevitably realizes he screwed up, be there for him as well.

  • I know... I appreciate your input and we'll see what happens!

  • If he's your friend and asked you to go, you should go.

His choices are for him to make. His mistakes are for him to live with and learn from.

  • I have gone to MANY weddings that I was SURE wouldn't last, but went anyway because a friend is a friend - regardless whether they behave the way you think they should. He will need your friendship more than ever if/when the marriage falls apart. If he asks your opinion, give it. If he doesn't, be there for him - and hope he finds happiness. That's the most any of us can ever do for the people we love...at least that's what I think!

  • this reminds me of a drama or something?

  • now as for *my* opinion..

..i really wouldn't want to give it to you if you had already made up your mind about attending the ne'er-do-weller's wedding anyway.

but, since you *did* solicit our Voice..

..i'll say this: if the expectation is there, that they both will be monogamous while married, then i wouldn't go to the wedding.

([Dick tastes] too good just to give up cold|turkey.)

i presume you wouldn't be Happy while in attendance anyway, so why torture yourself like that?

  • just let your friend see this video you made regarding his [future] situation.

you can have him watch it with you, or you can forward the link for him so he can view it at his place (or wherever he wants).

this isn't the time to be shy, so, i think you should do That as a preliminary step.

show him E. Jean's response, too, if one is made.
