  • Yes, its propane. We added an afterburner you may have seen in the other videos, it runs on propane and diesel. We use this one and a single turbo setup to measure flow of our new wheels and covers.

  • Its about $7,500 as you see it. We are currently adding an afterburner to it and will post some more videos in a few weeks.

  • LOL, we will be using it to dyno test turbos in our lab.

  • in what kind of application did you use that kind of set up? first time i see something like that !

  • you guys are fuckin badasses; i dont mean to be pompous, but im glad someone out there is doing shit as wild as me...

  • Thats so fucking awesome!! How is it being fueled? Is the propane being injected into a combustor and ignitied or something else? Im not fimiliar with homemade turbo jets.

Can you measure its thrust output? How is its power output measured?

Thanks! Sorry for the game of 20 questions, lol.

  • Wait, so you used a turbo, turned it into a gas tubine, and still went as far as turbocharging it?!?

    HTT FTW!

  • How much money to build something like that?
