Nabankur Bhattacharya - tabla solo - part I

Nabankur Bhattacharya began the study of tabla at the age of 7 with Trinankur Bhattacharya and then with Pandit Damarupani Bhattacharya. At the age of 15, he earned the "Sangeet Visharad" degree from the University of Allahabad. Then he obtained a grant of perfection dispensed to the young talented musicians by the Indian Ministry of Culture. Since 1993, he became a student of the world-famous tabla player Pandit Anindo Chatterjee. Nabankur Bhattacharya has played on stages all over India and accompanied renowned musicians, singers and dancers such as Lakshmi Shankar, A. Kanan, Prova Atra and Ulhas Kashalkar. He bas been performing in Africa and Europe since 2000.

Nabankur Bhattacharya commence l'étude des tablas à l'âge de 7 ans avec Trinankur Bhattacharya puis Pandit Damarupani Bhattacharya. A 15 ans, il obtient le diplôme "Sangeet Visharad" de l'Université d'Allahabad puis une bourse de perfectionnement du ministère de la culture indien, dispensée aux jeunes musiciens virtuoses. Depuis 1993, il est disciple du grand maître Pandit Anindo Chatterjee connu mondialement et accompagne des artistes de grande renommée tels Lakshmi Shankar, A. Kanan, Prova Atra ou Ulhas Koshalkar, etc. Nabankur Bhattacharya se produit régulièrement en Europe et en Afrique depuis 2000, en tant que soliste et accompagnateur.
