"Eversince i arrived here two weeks ago i wonder how the first colonists made it when they settled here in the Phoenix system. It took 1000 years to get from tents to cities like that. Every morning, when i get myself ready for the job, i look out of my bedroom window and see this. And everytime it's a wonder. A lot on my mind, especially on mornings like this. These beautiful, glittering fields of steel. That mighty star, Phoenix rising... and a coffee that demands my attention."

A place to find hope."

This animation is one result of one of my biggest projects ever. The other one is a painting. Created with Photoshop, Vue 8, After Effects. Please check here for specific information: http://v5.tigaer-design.com/?p=702

  • hey there, love ur work tigaer

one question how do u make those 3d buildings 3ds max or maya maybe?

  • @kisukehc well the technique i'm using is actually a little weird and would take too much time and space to explain here. lets just say it's pretty much all created with vue and photoshop.

  • @tigaerreal is vue a 3d program like max or maya?

if not, what is the difference?

  • @kisukehc Vue is a tool specialized in landscape creation. Mountains, forests, atmospheres. Certain versions of Vue can be integrated into other softwares like Max or Maya. I'm using the standalone version of Vue here.

  • wirklich geil.

der Vorspann is ein wenig zu lang für meinen Geschmack, sonst grandiose arbeit. Da kriegt man wirklich Gänsehaut beim zuschauen :D

  • @BigScarab90 ja da kann ich dir recht geben. war auch kürzer geplant... am ende wollte ich es aber nur noch fertig haben. =D freut mich das es gefällt.

  • That was totally amazing. It felt like watching a movie trailer or something, brought me into your world. Great job!

  • It reminds me of Gates to Elysium, which is a very good thing ;) I really loved the intro, sounds and the painting! Personally, I would have made a different camera movement because it didnt really... do.. anything(just a minor thing I suppose). VERY nice, wish I could do this ;)
