Sadly for us, too many of us are labeled as dead-beat dads and rightfully so. Shame on a guy who calls himself a "MAN" who can't spend time with his kids. I nice tribute song that shines light on us men who do care and adore our kids no matter what life throws at us. I too miss 90's country. Nashville should be ashame of themselves for taking this genre of country out. America needs positive country music right about now. This one is just one of them. @cjone33 This made me laugh! I remember sitting in my dad's lap and him letting me steer the car! I wouldnt dream of letting my kids do that but those were the good ole days! :)

oh my gosh look at that the boy got in the front seat of a pickup and without a booster seat good grief how did we ever survive back in those days. I'll bet they let him ride a bike with no helmet too. I miss the good ole days when you could ride through town with your daddy in a pickup or drink from hydrants outside the house or maybe even get your butt whipped when you did something wrong.

I was put up for adoption when i was 3weeks old an i have a father and mother that were there for me thru everything! I consider them my real parents. I did find my bio-family an things went good for a while then everything just went to $hit. I knew what kinda father my bio-dad was an he was the scum of the earth! I made a promise to myself an God i'd never be a piece of $hit like him and be like my dad i have now. My father is a great man! i love you dad your the best!

An unfortunately recurring them in 20th 21st century American society, as hard as it is on the parents, one can only feel deeply sad for the children caught in the middle, this is just a great tune and a necessary look at at an uneviable state of existence in these here United Staes of America!

My dad did the best he could to spend time, but he only had so much time.

I had that same bulls hat and lived this.. I remember every other weekend how happy i was just to see him on fridays, waiting for that chevelle to pull up..

Eventually i stopped seeing him, in a way I thank him cause I'm doin my best not to relive his mistakes to jeopardize mine and my kids lives.

I Miss my own father,he died in year 2006 at age 60,I miss him alot

I still have my Mom and Sister.We are all so close,,It hurt when I lost my Dad.

I'm crying as I post this,I miss my Daddy.
