I'm from Toronto city, Canada. We don't have those kind of monorail here, but We do have a very advanced Subway system like the way New York is.
I have no idea to compare standard of living between Toronto and Sydney. So what's life there? is it like us here in north America?

The monorail is not bad, but they could do more with the pylons, so they don't look so unsightly. Maybe they could repaint them, or redesign them so they look more visually interesting.
Nothing too bold, so it doesn't, distract the drivers on the road. Clover Moore wants to tear the whole lot down, but I don't think this is a good idea, for its really hard to get around Sydney by foot, and this is an easy way of transport to get around the city without a car.

its o.k to go on at least once for a quick view.......otherwise its fuckin pointless to people that live in sydney......unless you have loads of cash and spend all day every day going to tourist spots....the monorail is good to check out at least once!!!...sydney dosent have trams.....only light rail!!! they are not the same!...i have lived in cities with trams....there is a difference....go to melbourne...those are trams!!

its is only one monorail in one way? How do people back? sorry for the question, but in my city there is not a system of transportation like this. thanks.

it is only one direction, you make a round, it is may be only 15 minutes
