Brandon Hopkins Performing part 1 of 2 "drum solo"! This one is a little older but non the less i'm still having fun!
"bopkins14"
I recorded This in my practice space, out in the shed! lol. My drum kit is an old Baxter four piece, piece of crap but it does me good for now, till i can afford seomthing better or maybe until i get endorsed or something :) so if theres any out there that wants to endorse a great drummer, i'm that drummer!, haha kidding! but seriously! I use a kord D-1600 recording unit for recording, mixing and mastering. It has built in effects and many options for mixing and mastering. Its a great little machine for any musician. I use Cad microphones placed on - snare, toms, kick, and two overheads. I am using an HP digital camera, nothing special, thats why the quality isnt that great so i try and make up for it with great sound quality. Post recording: I import the video and audio into Adobe Premeire Pro 2.0 editing suite and do all the fancy work there. I import the video first then take out the audio from that(cameras audio), then import the audio that is mixed and mastered on my D-1600 unit, then I sync the video and audio together. I Highly recommend this program for any youtuber.

My Kit and gear:
Four peice Baxter
Evans Heads
Sabian Cymbals: Hand Hammered - 14"Hi Hats, 10"Splash, 18"China - AAX - 22"Metal Ride - Mike Portnoy Signature 10"Stack - Gibraltor double kicks - Gibraltor and Yamaha Hardware - Pro Mark Drum sticks, usually 707's or mike portnoy signatures, millenium 2's!
Korg D-1600 Recording unit
CAD Microphones
Vic Firth Isolation HeadPhones - cuts down db by -24. very important, after all you only get one set of ears.

Thats pretty much it.
Hope you enjoy!
God Bless!
