@easternnathcult Not really my thing, but the guitarists can definitely shred. Old school circa 2000's bands that I would recommend are Throneum (Pol), Deathhammer, Vomitor, Antichrist (Swe), Toxic Holocaust, Katharsis (Ger), Martyrvore, Deiphago, etc. Mostly hyrbird death/thrash, black/thrash bands, but there are lot of good old school death and heavy metal bands resurging from the shitswamp most people consider metal these days too.
