  • @dpcoffeyjr you are right, they do require the shades to be down to cool the aircraft and open though (your discretion) for takeoff and landing.

  • Love the take off footage. I shot near some 200 pictures from the plane last time I flew. 

  • On my last comment- that was on a RPA operated E175 last weekend- 3269 KPWM-KDCA-KJAX and the return flight 3262. The pre-recorded announcement mentioned the window shade requirements, followed by announcing that the main cabin lights were to be switched off (presumably to minimize electric load during engine start?)
