St. Petersburg Police giving tickets for honking horn

St. Pete police can be reasonable, but at times they have selective policy enforcement that doesn't make sense. In 2005 they tried writing tickets for honking in support of protestors. Public opinion was against it. They have not done it since.

fuck that.. Cops don't need to act like that. how is that in any way necessary for a person to get a ticket for that. Cops are ridiculous. I, just now, got a ticket at 12:00 am in the morning on a monday night, tuesday morning for parking on the opposite side of the road in a neighborhood of three houses.. now tell me if cops aren't ass holes?

baywalk can burn!!! it shouldve never been allowed to be privatized. downtown st pete isn't that damn special!! since i've been down here, i've come to learn that st ptersburg,fl is nothing more than a haven for drug dealers, drug users, sex offenders, child molesters, rapists, prostitutes, last, but not least, too many f'in old people on meds that get out and drive!!!!!!

You must be in the white zone. At 22nd Ave and Ninth you can put loudspeakers outside your business and blast the street, and sell drugs out of the gas station while the cops sit right there and do nothing.

Your horn is emergency equipment. It's not to let your friend know you are in the driveway or that you like what someone has on his sign. Didn't your mother tell you that?
