Yeah, this was pretty useless. All they did was look at a few pipes. What about tile, mastic, popcorn ceilings, siding, shingles, plaster or drywall joint puddy, glazing, etc?

Exposure to asbestos can be a serious health risk. However, removing asbestos from a home or building is not always the best solution. If, for example, the asbestos is undisturbed and intact, removing the asbestos can in fact be a greater risk than leaving it in place. However, if a renovation or demolition will disturb asbestos containing materials then that material must be removed with proper disposal.

@anguish416 oh in holland well here in the states and canada asbestos was used allot for this not cardboard.
-
@redneckrollercoast1 Over here in Holland, it's just card board. I know, cuz I've sampled it hundreds of times. When cardboard is used as pipe insulation here, and asbestos is involved, the asbestos is either in the plaster covering the card board, or it's in cloth around the piping, which is then covered by the card board.

@marcus97301 your retarded.

Good for you. I lived with asbestos insulation in my basement all my life, and I'm still kicking. If you leave the stuff alone, it can't hurt anybody.
