Gearing in the beginning of Cata was not hard at all. I hit 85 within 24hours of release, it took a few days for everyone else in my guild to catch up, but when they did, we bought two pieces of gear with the saved up 4000JP, did the higher level normals, then did Heroics.

Maybe it's just because we didn't suck, and we know how to play our class and compliment each others classes, but we did the Heroics easily.

Since we didn't suck at the game, I guess that made us "hardcore".

You don't have to jump ship to play other MMORPG's...Try doing them all...I did that with RIFT but was still loyal to WoW...Just Saying..lol
