  • @funwiththoughts Btw Dinofelis also hunted Australopithecus. And possibly Zebra or other animals alive today. And Dinofelis didn't live that long ago that is hunted cat sized horses.

  • Luis is a worrywart that's what he is

  • @funwiththoughts Also, Smilodon hunted very large prey, such as mammoths and rhinos, while shagrats are only about the size of sheep, and while gannetwhales are pretty large, snowstalkers only eat the eggs, so the snowstalker doesn't need to be and isn't as large or as strong as Smilodon and is more comparable to the early, min-sabertooth Dinofelis, which mainly hunted primitive horses (which were only about the size of cats at the time), rather than the more well-known Smilodon.

  • @CosmicGrounds I don't so much question whether a Smilodon would be capable of the task, but whether they would actually do it. Also, Smilodons weren't the only saber-toothed cats. They made up an entire subfamily of cats, which (as you probably know) is now extinct... or is it?

  • @funwiththoughts Saber-toothed tigers never existed. Saber-tooth are also called, Smilodons. In addition, Terror Birds only preyed on either weak, diseased, or young Smilodons. A full grown Smilodon would have no problem taking a Terror bird down.

  • @MsMariosonic

Well in this version, the Carakiller is listed as 7 feet tall, but in the official version, the Carakiller is listed as being 3 meters, or 9.8 feet tall.

  • @N00bcrunch3r phorusrhacos was also bigger than the carrakiller

  • @amm019 true

  • @amm019 Except that no, they didn't. The Terror Bird was the one predator of the Saber-toothed tiger.

  • Epic snowstalker is epic
