A classic, what else can we say. It takes us back to the 50's and 60's. We didn't know how good we had it then while listening to such music like this "Red river rock". I had the very special privilege of seeing the rock 'n' roll scene unfold. It was truly beautiful and now full of fond memories. Thanks for watching and commenting. It's a shame that this type of fantastic instrumental music has virtually disappeared from the playlists of radiostations. This is really good music and the more you listen, the better it gets. Your grandchildren don't realise what they are missing. Let them listen to the biggest crap ever such as Justin Beeper, Lady Gaga or Ricky Martin. Accept my great rocking regards, Roland.

Johnny & The Hurricanes were 5 young men who have made an impact on the charts in 1959 with the old favorite “Red River valley” served up as a beauty instrumental titled “Red River rock”. The Hurricanes were all born around Toledo, Ohio and the group came together initially to entertain their friends at local highschool hops and at Saturday night jive sessions. During the summer months they played in Toledo’s Pearson Park. From there they graduted to club dates and one-night stands.
