  • Michigan coal tailings pond, the size of 200 dump trucks

  • I'm trusting that this spill along with the little oil spill in the Gulf will wake more American's up to the fact that Big Energy has bought off our government and we have not been protected. I've seen signs that our EPA wants to really do it's job, but unless more people get involved it might not happen as fast as we need it to.

The real cost of dirty energy is huge, we have solutions.

  • man! think about the toxic levels an Engineer faced driving those stinky old steam trains all over the place.

And people used to burn coal right in their homes and cook with it.

That really looks like a mess and I see our media has swept it under the rug.

Hope things are getting better over there!
