kind of makes me sad watching all these comedians I grew up watching, I remember the morning John Candy died, I was 13, that was a sad day, then we lost Dangerfield, and just recently Carlin... Farley before he'd even reached his prime... these guys are unequaled greats from comedies greatest era...

@askjimmycarter Thanks for sharing this. People are people. And the gift he gave and had so many laugh is a blessing. Yeah, he was making money. But really, at a certain point, money really isn't what it's all about. Like he said, "It was his second love". And that is what it takes to be successful. And I'm sure it wasn't "Easy Money". what we see on camera is such a fraction of what it takes to make a production. and many are sooo ignorant of this it's almost insulting. thanks again.

He had a hyperthyroid condition, hence the constant sweating and heat intolerance. The man was always on fire so to speak. You see it often when he is on talk shows he asks (if the airconditioner) "is up all the way?". I suffer the same thing and he turned his curse into a blessing - a true inspiration.

Nice interview man...well done

The most amazing and quite misunstood concept is that most of the great comedians that have passed, never considered themselves great. Dangerfield, Farley, even Pryor never thought they were anything special, but they truely were, and they will give us many funny moments forever. Thank you.

just finished watching his biography man his early years were terrible
I did this interview...he was sick and sweating and did NOT want to sit down with about 30 people for 5 minutes each...I actually perked him up..you are on a clock.you cant let the subject loose..this was not intended to be run without edit...you would pck 15 secs here and there...so enjoy this brilliant guy...but not an easy man

You might be a MORON if......you have no idea what YOU are talking about.....the regular questions werent working with interviews before this one....tried this technique and it worked...he talked...a LOT more than he was with anyone this day....so think before thy speaks on things ye know nothing about....:)

He seems very tense for some reason. I love this guy, I never saw him like that, so matter of fact you know? But sure he's just human, and was one of the best. I talked to Rob Schneider about him (yeah, I really did) and he said the same, that he was a great guy.
