"How Beautiful is the Princess Salome Tonight". A madly inventive adaptation of Oscar Wilde's 1891 play subtitled by Ballet Master and Choreographer, Sergiy Shvydkyy. Shvydkyy, an internationally renowned avant-garde dancer, actor, choreographer and leading figure in contemporary performance arts in the Ukraine, again brings his unique choreographic vision, to The Pearl Company.
An outrageous concept by the master performer; the costumes, set design and creative ideas were also the inspiration of Sergiy Shvydkyy.
Shvydkyy has founded the "Art Quick Dance Company"
in Canada to showcase his powerful gesture-based and intensively interpretive choreography.
The mission of Shvydkyy's unique dance style is to "create, then create more" for creativity is the secret fuel which endows people with the ability to think and further understand themselves in relation to others.
