I agree that you can find respect on the streets or in the church if you act a certain way or dress a certain way. But some of us out there are naturally more fem. and still do get more discriminated against because of it, no matter how kind or respectful. It is okay to be gay, it is okay to be straight, it is okay to be attracted to trees.. it is okay to be who you are. When i see a fem. male I DON'T CARE.. the world is changing =D

He's right though, and he's not disrespecting effeminate guys. When you go out in public, it's not all about you. There are other people around, and you should try to respect them as well. Holding hands and a casual peck is great, but I've seen the kind of behavior he's talking about, which is just disrespectful to others.
