YYYou can mod a gt500 to beat a z06 but its still just a mustang. You can mod a z06 to beT a viper but its still just a corvette.

Ive owned camaro/corvette/rx7/nsx and 3 vipers. Let me tell you viper is in a differant league than the vette. Park a brnd new 120k zr1 next to a 96 viper gts worth 35k and prepare to be amazed at wich one people gather around

heres my same mild bolt on 480 rwhp 2003 srt10 Viper against 2 600 awhp PLUS GTR's just in case you doubt my vid with the vammed C6z06...Again stock form 120-123 mph..But bolt ons and a tune plus a lil weight reduction (light weight hood/flywheel/titanium exhaust brings my weight from the stock 3380 pounds to 3300 pounds at 480 rwhp/512 rwt makes a pretty potent car

ive got a 2003 viper with Kn filters/harland sharp roller rockers/no cats/titanium exhaust/light weight fly wheel/light weight under drive pulley and sct tune..put down 480 rwhp on a dyno jet ...Raced my buddies 2007 C6z06 with intake/cam/tune at 500 rwhp (milod street bully cam) like 20 times and 12 times we were dead even and the other 8 he hot me by a door to a length...the 2003-2006 Vipers are 120-123 1/4 mph cars in stock form..much faster than people give them credit for

@camirocz only reason the 09 viper lost to the zr1 in tjhe one mile race was becuase of its 5th gear!! they made the 5th gear shorter for 2010.. those cars are extremely close in performance!!

@camirocz number one z06 300 pounds lighter... and number two the 08 viper will beat a stock z06 all day!! its been proving!! youtube it dick!! oo and for the zr1 the viper srt-10 beats it all the way to 170mph!!!! it was on battle of the super cars!! watch it iddiot!!! paul tracy and tanner foust are proffessional drivers.. and the viper took the zr1 to 60mph and on the track!!! so dont talk shit you know nothing about.. and just for the record.. the 2010 would go side by side with a zr1.

@heyybii listen here asshole i ll kill any pre 08 viper with my bone stock 07 z06 .Kill them you here as in truck lengths and even an 08 is a real close race i have 505 h.p vs 600 for the new viper and a zr1 will toast it bad.

Vipers cost twice as much --- I can put a supercharger on the LS3 and still be at half price. So dollar for dollar there is no comparison. You can mod a Z06 for cheaper than a new Viper and whip the Viper.
