In Ecuador, Texaco did similar operations, using the same techniques and technologies, throughout its concession area. They had no respect for women, regardless of whether they were indigenous or other rural women. They had no respect for the territory, no respect for people's lives -- they dumped their toxic wastes in every river where they operated.

Texaco is only 1/3 of the oil/gas company that is responsible for what is occurring in Ecuador. The correct name of the perpetrator oil company is "Shell Chevron Texaco", all three of these oil/gas companies are actually each 1/3 part of a singular identity. So don't just blame one third of the company, go after the whole evil empire "SHELL CHEVRON TEXACO" these facts are backed by O.P.E.C...
