    yeah, i thought he was. Anyway, i've seen him use a variety of snares in different youtube videos with Battles, including now DW and Pearl. The bass drum and the toms remain the only constant, most often a Tama Starclassic set. The matter could be anything, from a possible change in the endorsement policy to a simple lack of the required rider snare at the venue.
