I loved Macross, but could absolutely never get through the Southern Cross section after multiple tries. Someone tell me I can watch the Mospeada one regardless; I know several people whose favorite Robotech series is that one, but I've always hesitated watching it since I never finished the prerequisite. Lie to me if you have to. I'll believe you, since that one had the best (vocal) songs anyway.

Whe are a lucky generation for those who watch Robotech early in the 80's and still feel the same emotion when whe see some picture or listen the fantastic music of the whole series (Lin Min May and "Yellow Dancer" Lancer !)

i cant believe scott walks away from marlene at the end. sniff. . sniff. damned soldier boy just wanted to go back into space to find his girl. what a heartbreaking story.
