X3 "My wonderful son"? So sweet!! *sniff*

Tales of Symphonia really is a deep game. Granted it can be cartoony from time to time :)
But still, the game has a really deep plot with some real heavy subjects.

I know most of the spinoffs take a third route where Zelos doesn't AND Kratos joins Lloyd. I guess it's like that in the sequel too unless they never bring it up?

I love Tales of Symphonia. It's so deep and detailed. This story wanted me to be there and hear it "for real" :)
Kratos, Anna, Lloyd and Dirk, what a wonderful family ^^

@AyuOhseki yeah your right but it would be a lil interesting if they put that story about what happen if they killed zelos
"we need to broaden our investigation a bit more."
What/Why are they investigating?

@Raikage1146 Remember in the first video, they've been blown to a strange forest that they don't recognize? Kratos is talking about investigating the forest so they can figure out where they are and what happened.

Wait... I just thought of something. If you choose the ending where you get to keep Kratos, doesn't that throw the majority of this out of whack?

What other than Zelos being alive does it throw out of whack? Because he's alive in Tales of Symphonia II, too, and survives in all the other potential endings. There's really no way you could have sequels agree with every single ending, so I think we're supposed to accept that the "true canon" has Zelos survive.

Just wondering- for the translation, was the whole "stalking" thing just replacing a japanese play on words? I know nothing about the language, but as far as I can tell, it seems like you did a really good job of it :) Thanks so much!

Sharp! The word "stalking" is an accurate translation, but Lloyd mistaking it as a reference to celery is indeed a replacement. The actual words used are "sutooku" ("stalking") and "pooku" ("pork"--both of them are English loan words). They rhyme in Japanese, but in English are different enough that I figured it wasn't intuitive as a direct translation. It would WORK, but you wouldn't be able to see where Lloyd made the mental disconnect.
Anyway, thanks, and you're welcome! :D
