Research on operation "Amalgam Virgo" a joint military exercise between the US and Canadians 3 months before 911. Its purpose was to neutralise any Third World united cruise missiles launched off a rogue freighters in the Gulf of Mexico. Amalgam Virgo utilised the use of remote controlled planes being used as weapons against targets in the US. It even had a photo of Patsy Bin Laden on the cover!! It proves they had a strategy, and the means to deliver such an attack 3 months before 911

Yes 'cause the only planes in the air that day were hijacked. Right?!!!

@mustbeburtreynolds "first total collapse of a steel building EVER"
Are you really stupid enough to swallow everything you read on crackpot conspiracy sites? Too lazy to use Google and find out what absurd bullshit that is?
Why do you think fireproofing is required for steel structure?
-
@blueshark69 Yeah, because mild fires on a few floors are going to cause the first total collapse of a steel building EVER, totally regardless of the fact that tens of thousand of similar fires have never caused such destruction. No, good point though.
@joshbarber89
I own a construction company & work with civil engrs all the time, but none have ever designed a bldg or analyzed structure. Some of the bldg inspectors have CE degrees, but just check that wiring, HVAC etc is by the book. The others design septic systems & drain fields, irrigation systems or dams for cattle ponds. Any of them could submit an engrg article but in reality most would be completely lost in structural mechanics, like a med student doing brain surgery.

@joshbarber89 "only a private investigation so their word is invalid"
Actually, they haven't. But they certainly could. There is nothing private or public about writing a scientific paper and publishing it in an engineering journal, or Scientific American, etc -- almost everything submitted is from a private individual or team that has either developed a theory or is disputing someone else's published study. There are at least a dozen published studies supporting Bazant & none disputing
