@HenrydeBeli The truth can be painful. However that does not mean you can't have wonderful experiences. Your first kiss, your favorite movie, talking with your best friend, being in love can all be relished even though there is currently no evidence for a soul.

@FrogMan1711 Evolution is not dead and refuted. Go read one of the thousands of books and research papers by evolutionary biologists that explain the overwhelming evidence and how it works. Most people who say evolution by natural selection is false have never read anything on it by a biologist, they have only listened to Intelligent design proponents ( who are not evolutionary biologist) and they don't even understand the basics of how Natural Selection works.

When he said there is very little evidence that god exists he is being too generous. There is no scientific evidence that god exists. Now I do agree that the universe requirers an explanation as why it is here and why we exist in it, but there is just as much evidence to say that the Greek god Zues is the cause as there is to say that the Christian god is the cause. None. I do like his 4-part evolutionary brain hypothesis but I don't think he is the originator of this idea.

in al-Quran has been explained
"Explain to me about the people who make the Lord desires. So Can you be a guardian over him?, Or Do you think that most of them hear or understand. they had no other, just like cattle, they are even further astray (from cattle). "(Al-Furqan :43-44)

so there's no room in science for a sould and we basically live once and that's it? all we are is a lump of cells that have evolved over a lot of years?
Elkhonon Goldberg's book, The Executive Brain: "The frontal lobes perform the most advanced and complex functions in all of the brain, the so-called executive functions. They are linked to intentionality, purposefulness, and complex decision-making. They reach significant development only in man; arguably, they make us human. The frontal lobes are the brain's command post. Motivation, drive, foresight, and clear vision of one's goals are central to success in any walk of life.
