This is a series of great Aussie Coke Ads. The first one, for instance, is one beautiful take-off of their awesoem hit "Come & See Her" .. great Coke Ad. This IS NOT 'sell-out stuff' by the group at all. Merely taking & making the most of commercial opportunities. If a group gets famous enough .. why the hell not .. OMG. And - That broadcaster's voice is familiar .. but I can't quite put my finger on the name. Is it Baby John Burgess, by chance ?? It'll come to me ....
First version is great! Other 2 OK. The last has a rhythm guitar (?) beat that may have been ripped off by Suburban Lawns on "I'm a Janitor" (though that song was made in the early '80s).
3:22 the blond one on the right - Harry Vanda and the one next to him with leather gloves on - George Young = later Flash and the Pan, my favs

The Easybeats were 5'6 and under except for Harry Vanda- thus the moniker Lil Easybeats.

If you notice almost every popular band back then did songs for coke commercials! So if they "sold out" then so did everyone else at the time.

Well, I think they were Aussies....
Maybe there. Like The Rascals started out as The Young Rascals....
But that's the first I'd ever heard of them being called that.
