MVC has vastly improved the situation.

You can refresh your jscript intellisense cache clicking Ctrl+Shift+J and it will pop up.

I noticed my Intellisense did not pick up the class name "WebService".

@kitbitsit depends on what you are doing. jQuery is cool and I've written extensively about that on my blog.
