  • i love this line. "your not free, but you could be." as well as "you treated her....like she was worth something." "She is, and so are you."

  • @911child Those are my favorite lines as well...freedom and value are exactly the point of this story, and the entire gospel for that matter.

  • im not bashing or anything. im just asking. when jesus said to the woman "from now on, do not sin again" does that mean she never sinned again? because i thought that we could never stop sinning and that is why we need jesus christ to wash away the sin from our hearts. i am sorry if my question comes out weird:P

  • @nomorelies86 Great question! First, understand that the woman is guilty...She deserved His condemnation, as do all of use What Jesus offered was grace. She didn't deserve His forgiveness, but He forgave her all the same. How should she respond to such amazing grace? Jesus tells her, and by extension us, to not sin again..Repent and turn away from the sin that condemns us. Re-condition your heart toward righteousness. Will we stumble? Of course. But we are moving in the opposite direction.

  • Study of the bible and archeology shows god had a wife and after the bablonian attack scribes thought god punished them for worshipping gods other than him so tried to write away the presence of Asharah gods wife. Who was by gods side when he came down to earth. Prettymuch all bible scholars not biased by faith agree that christianity in its foundation is not a monotheistic religion. The evidence for his wife is overwhelming, in the book and in archeology.

  • @MrImmobile ...and yet you provided no direct sourcing for even a single point in scripture that would support your position. Nor do you site even one alleged "bible scholar not biased by faith" (as if faith is a disqualification for finding truth). If the evidence is indeed overwhelming...

  • This is one of my favourite moments in the the life of Christ (if its alright to have a favourite) it comes in after the crucifixtion and being the messiah being raised to life

this is forgiveness in a nutshell and it makes me happy to have god on my side that i am a child of god

  • ""Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." (Matthew 5:17, NIV)

"Don't suppose for a minute that I have come to demolish the Scriptures - either God's Law or the Prophets. I'm not here to demolish but to complete. I am going to put it all together, pull it all together in a vast panorama." (Matthew 5:17, MSG) Where is the contradiction? How did Jesus abolish the law?

  • @imbatman1995 The people i would show it to are either not smart enough or in denial to accept science. Even though they will fly across the world and drive and use their computers and accept medicine that prolongs their lives. These discoveries came about through the same scientific method that proved evolution and an ancient earth and that can show there was no ancient flood or adam and eve. Its madness. Vaccines are understood and work because we understand evolution. Open your eyes people.

  • @imbatman1995 Do your own bloody research. I am not the one who believes this book to be true. The whole academic and scholarly world without religious bias accept that the bible has had many alterations. All you have to do is realise all the different versions of the bible. The bible was not one book. It has many different authors from different times. Like languages and accents change over time the bible has too. The real question here is "is the bible divine" well i can show that its not.

  • @MrImmobile alright, you show me some stuff of what the bible was SUPPOSED to be and ill look at it

  • @imbatman1995 Well thats what cross referance study is for. Studying writings from everyside and getting the best picture from that. Aliens may have played a part in our history, there is suprising evidence for such theories but nothing that can set it in stone so i dont believe either way. I judge the evidence. Nothing can be known for sure. What can be known is the bible is a far cry from what it was originally. Its not hard, Finding ancient bibles show the modern changes. Its bogus m8.

  • @MrImmobile thank you for being as rude as you can about this. i appreciate that. anyway, who or what exactly informed you that everythings a lie? how do we know history hasnt been altered? maybe America didnt start as thirteen colonies from Europe, maybe aliens dropped us off.

  • the true freedom is beyond free will which the free will is still chain in sin that leads it to bad taught occasionally. but the true freedom is the the only decision and though of goodness free freom ill toughts or topic I am not free, nor are you all, but by simply trust in Jesus, the real GOD descended into earth among us in chains. like Jesus said to the blond girl, one day, we"could be FREE"

  • Jesus inorganic mind parasite problem?? Sick of being told you are born in sin by space alien monsters that tell you they are god OR THE SON OF god?? ORDER SOME jesus inorganic mind PARASITE BUG SPRAY! Just stop believing in this bullshit

  • @imbatman1995 You are not worth my time if you think the bible hasnt been altered. All throughout history it was altered and parts left out and translations bending to agenda's. Judaism was born out of more ancient religions and originally it was not monotheistic. There was even snake worship. It was very savage. Alot of evil blood sacrifice. Nothing a "modern" man would want to believe in. Anyone who thinks the bible is the word of god is programmed and delusional. Whether a nice person or not.

  • @MrImmobile christianity stemmed from judaism aka hebrew. all were monotheistic, and if ANYTHING else was ever worshiped, it contradicts the entire christian faith. People have found original scrolls with the bible on them, all stress the fact there is ONE God and no one else. when exactly did the bible become so altered? it surely wasnt the reformation period, cuz people were mad that the were making crap up about the bible, so it couldnt have been then. so when exactly?

  • And the acting is really awful too. Watch "Jesus of Nazareth" if you wish to see propper acting.
