Quick demo / review of my new solaris camping lantern, which can be used in any type of emergency power outage situation. It features a 2.68 watt thin film solar panel, 6 watt 430 lumen fluorescent tube and a unique nickle metal hydride rechargeable battery. It weighs about 2 lbs and takes 13 hours of good sunlight to recharge from a dead state. I really like this lantern, it's plenty bright and last 6 hours on a single charge. Another advantage is you never have to worry about buying new batteries or plugging it into your homes electrical supply to recharge, it is 100% solar!

  • can u tell me where could i get one

  • @starkilla21 This specific lantern was discontinued 5-6 years ago. You can however find LED lanterns with the solar charging feature on various sites (amazon, ebay, overstock, various retailers etc...).

  • Lol, looks like your doing shadow puppets on the bed. :)

    Nice lantern!

  • @RollinTidez LOL, I have a habit of gesturing with my hands when speaking to the camera

Thanks man, I haven't stopped playing with that lantern yet......Already took it apart to see how it works.
