is there a way of adding a transition to a secondary level of video? i have multiple layers that have been transformed to allow 3 on screen at once. is there a way to get all 3 to use a transition? i haven't been able to figure it out

How about amazing lithe transitions? I can't find any tutorials on them. Just videos showing off the light transitions on their film reels!

@FreshNapp Oh wow after a week i finally realized it. You helped by telling me to double click. I double clicked the audio transition and realized you may not want to transition the audio at all (or maybe i need to tweak the setting a bit?) because when I chopped up the vid, i stopped the piece at a certain point so you dont hear the next part, but to fade it, they fade the part after you chopped, with the part of this next clip at the part BEFORE you chopped it so you hear audio you don't want.

I have final cut 5. I never saw any red. It just auto rendered it I guess. My problem is though that it kinda doubled the audio for a sec at all my transitions. I just default transitioned the whole thing so it used crossfade/dissolve on everything. Now it's making little sounds when it transitions. Like it plays a split sec of the new clip so it makes my voice stutter as it fades. Any ideas? Also, know how to put a lil logo in the bottom right corner for the whole vid?

hmm. when i drag the transition between to videos, my cursor shows an "X" (invalid move).
