It is definitely hard. As you know I went through it too but it can work out.... It just takes a lot of effort. Two dedicated people. You can do it.

Long distance relationships rarely work, and you are finding out why. Physical distance leads to emotional distance, which isn't good for the durability of any relationship. Your relationship is dying, and I think you know that. You can make a clean break or painfully drag it out over time. Please don't resort to self-destructive behavior if this ends badly. You've already been down that road once before, so you know it doesn't solve any of your underlying problems, it just masks them.
