Also, I used to play rummy with him at the Whataburger on Campbell Ave near E Prince Rd. when I was in high school. (late 90's). I'd go with my uncle to play cards with some of the other guys, and Joe was always there with a newspaper and we'd hassle him sometimes. Interesting guy once you got him going.

Get gov't out of marriage. Have the church perform marriages. If your church supports gays, gays can be married in your church. If not, they'll have to move on to another church who will marry them, or accept not being married. All current benefits would be given under the banner of civil unions. Civil unions would be performed for straight and gay couples. I am against gay marriage, but from a political standpoint, I think this is the best compromise.

There is no valid reason again on why gay marriage should be legal other then religion. He never answers the question just making gay marriage type of sick act? What does he care? Is he going to marry a man, no. These are people just seeking equal rights.

Thank God Tucson AZ is a place that embraces LGBT equality and diversity. Don't let this billybob redneck give you the wrong impression. Tucson has elected many openly gay officials and was the ONLY county in Arizona to vote AGAINST Prop 102, the marriage amendment. Indeed, more gays are now moving here because of the low cost of living and progressive atmosphere in the central area.

Long live the Old Pueblo and to hell with this piece of shit! Let's preserve Tucson's dignity and reputation.
