Well for everyone who is slating Portslade, I have lived there for a very long time and think it is great. Everywhere has it's problem areas, including Hove and Brighton.

I'm assuming the video was meant as a joke but as a final thought, most people that live here are very happy and don't really give a shit about what anyone else thinks.

i have lived in this area my whole life and i am 16.

i know the kind of people who youve based your oppinion on but portslade is not full of those people. there are a select few of teenagers like that. but otherwise most are happy, non-alcoholics that have fun so... yeah.

and all those saying its not awesome are liers... its the best place to grow up.

to be honest there's a romance to portslade that you probably can only see if you were brought up here and have happy childhood memories of the place, there's certainly something about portslade.
