Hey, that's what you think. It wasn't fake on Jerry's part. He didn't know that andy would do any of that stuff and the smack Jerry gave him wasn't fake either. In fact Jerry Lawler even said so in an interview once that Andy came at him out of the blue.

Hey, you're right that the slap from Jerry was a REAL slap. And it's very possible that much of this was improvised, given how unpredictable Andy was. Do a search here at You Tube for Jerry and you'll find a short vid where he tells the story of how he got together with Kauffman, etc. Jerry suggested to Andy that instead of wrestling women, that he wrestle him instead, etc...and the rest is history. Ppl need to remember that all of this was way before the Jerry Springer era of fake fights, etc.

Hey, hehehe I never noticed how much Andy looked like Lawlers cousin the honkey tonk man. That might have made Jerry want to add even more to it lol.

Extemely mistunderstood comic of all time. Andy was directly responsible for all prank style humor by late night hosts and comics following his death.
