I moved away from Cusco at the end of 2007 and this brought a tear to my eye just to see where we used to work every day. If only I could afford to go back. Who knows?

I hope you can make it back in due time. It is truly one of the unique cities of the world. The Plaza de Armas, the friendly people, good food and high energy were all great reasons to return.

I think that everyone who hikes the Inca trail has to start out in Cusco so I thought you would like the reminder. What a cool city! Very much like our hometown, Santa Fe, New Mexico, back, say, 30 years...
