you should file in one direction, not like a see-saw.;.. that alone will make nails split. none of these steps actually treat or prevent nail ridges either, all she did was buff them out and oil the cuticle. they will grow back as the nail grows. nail ridges have to do with your nutrition.

@plekka I dunno if you still care about this, but OPI Ridge Filler might be something for you to look for- completely evens your ridges and an amazing basecoat
