  • So STRONG and BEAUTIFUL........ Qualities of all us Women.... I've learned this song in one of my previous drum circles and now share with others; in new circles...... throughout my journey I hear this song and it's sung nearly everywhere I go..... I'm in Manitoba, Canada, and have heard it as far East as East Coast and far West as West Coast..... Thank You "Lovely Ladies" I was awh'ed xD when I found this on Youtube!

  • aww m'chigeeng, i miss my lil rez

  • absolutely awe-some :)

  • i drum this song too i love it one of my favourites.. u have a wicked voice

  • There was another video with this same song. The owner was named "Cree Jewel". She should put her vids back on here

  • Drumming and singing are VERY powerful...the adrenaline, feeling and emotion in the music makes us all a lil emotional.

  • Does anyone know an Anishnabe musicgroup from Quebec (I think so, because they've done their interviews in French)? They called themselves Anishnabe and sang in Algonkin . I've seen them on Arte, but yesterday I rerecord the cassette by accident. The only song I know was called kikikapoje (I don't know how to write it). It means become conscious. Please send me their internetsite or adress! If you don't know them it could help if you can tell me the right ortography of the song.
