This documentary is about film maker Stuart MacDonald's quest to see just how hard it is to look like the guys you see in fitness ads. The experience turns out to be his worst nightmare and greatest victory.

  • i would buy this but no chance I am paying 30 lol. Maybe 15

  • People who have seen it are saying it might be the next Super Size Me. It is really an entertaining documentary.

  • can i buy your dvd under the table for 15 i dont wanna pay 30 :(

  • This is a full length movie documentary complete with PDF of my entire diet plan. Perhaps by waiting the price may come down.

  • Hey Stuart,

Are you ok...Man, You looked so unhappy there.

  • I'm fine. In the video you'll see how achieving this "ideal" look affects your personal life. It was so lonely and hard. Why on earth are we sold that this is how we should look when it's just not functional, that's my problem with the industry. That ideal look is so hard to get that people are wasting thousands of dollars annually chasing a dream that is way out of their reach.

  • Anyone know that soundtrack at the end of the movie?

  • it really goes both ways. ive been 7-8% bodyfat throughout my power/oly lifting lifetime and i want nothing more than to be able to have a bit of extra fat to expend.

  • one of the best docs i have ever seen! Very revealing, informative, and inspirational!

  • i havent seen the doc but what exercises did he do to look like that? im assuming hs did: squats, deadlifts, rows, power cleans, bench press, and overhead press.

  • @ryanmillerart I totally agree. And a lot of these people will also spend a lot more than $30 on useless supplements and gimmicky exercise equipment they saw on an infomercial.

This documentary gives a very realistic view of getting in shape, but at the same time, shows how to do it too.

  • "Execute the Plan" :)

  • damn who is this menotr / personal trainer guy i need to contact that dude

  • im sorry but i would love to get the opportunity to follow that training program!! im not saying that im fat and lazy sitting writing this, but i attend the gym 3-4 times a week and to have a mentor to drive me would be amazing!!

  • I just saw this video and its very true. Everybody thinks they can do it easily which they cant and do not realize all the sacrifice put into this!

  • @richardm80

if anyone who is at all serious about getting a taste of what it's like to get fit and healthy, or anyone who has the slightest curiousity about what it really takes to become a competitive bodybuilder would do themselves a favor by purchasing this DVD. And Stuart is funny. Any one that thinks $30 is too much to spend on enlightenment and entertaining education is the same person that thinks ordering a diet coke with their double cheeseburger is healthy eating. Sorry for being mean
