Cool physics assignment: build a catapult and try to hit the teacher on the 50 yard line. This is our catapult - didn't quite hit the teacher but earned a 90 and threw a small water balloon about 45 yards!

  • How exactly did you get the water balloon to actually fly out rather than just staying in the bucket?

  • Sorry bud, but yes, it is a trebuchet. Check out wikipedia which has a nice description

  • @TehGamingBrothers yes, it is. it uses the arms like a counterweight. they should put a basket or something similar instead to use the arms

  • @misterbeefy33 That is not a trebuchet.

  • People holding a camera are not suppose to talk for god sake...

  • mom trying to be funny fail...

  • use ruber bands much mor power

  • Nice job, but that's a trebuchet, not a catapult ;)

  • Coolio! Ha, I like when the catapult almost falls on Mitchell!
