  • @ 3:13 what was that? Looks like they're shooting some kind of flare at you?

  • Good day,

good to see the film is still being watched and commented on.

The crew of the vessel fired a 'line throwing rocket' in order to pass a line from the casualty to the tug. In this case they fired it unannounced and against agreed procedures (language problem). They almost shot the third engineer, who is filming, out of his workboots.

  • Mooi Fillempie Leen, volgens Carsten Spielberg 3e wtk a/boord Boulder is hij de camera man die bijna een rocket naar zijn hoofd gericht kreeg - Hou Dou van de zwerfkei gang.

  • Yo Gerrit,

correct hoor. Joint Venture, Carsten filmen en ik aan de handles rukken en een beetje met iMovie spelen ROFLOL. Houdt hem recht !!!!

  • Who's the soundtrack by? i love it, if only we could play music on deck!

  • G'day, music is the early '70 song Parents by the band Budgie. To my surprise I found some footage of this band posted on Youtube this morning. :)

  • is that a choest boat?

  • She lost her, or why the end of the film was empty? The hawser snapped?

  • Why oh Why do we have such crap sound backing? I suppose there was no natural sound of the sea etc; if I want to listen to this sort of music, I will wait until I get booked in to a care home for the sick and insane. Good video spoilt by utter rubbish soundtrack!!

  • @HighAway That was the projectile from the distressed vessels 'Line-Gun'. The red stuff in the water was the attached 'retrieving line' which is used to haul up the towing vessels tow gear.

  • Nice song!!

  • Perfect rescue! Congratulations for Boulder crew.

    Regards from Brazil

  • how old was the m/v b.prus at the time? looks like it should be ready for scraping...

  • I saw this Boulder in Almeria (Spain) I was in Remolcanosa cinco Spanish Rescue Tug.

    GOOD LUCK MAN
