Blender on SGI Indy under Irix

Nothing special, simple fun clip maded by me, showing my Silicon Graphics Indy R5K and running Blender 2.44 port for Irix 6.5 - this machine is old about 12+ years, still run latest 3D software (now is 2007!) ;) it`s not a speed daemon - but what a hell ! still goes man, still goes ...

:-) yes, ram is maxed. its XL24, i have the G130 so no room for XZ :-) although i want to get another one with XZ though :-)

Brilliant. I just got my Fuel yesterday. I thought I would do some benchmarking for fun and I was surprised just how quick it was. On the test scene it only took about a minute longer to render than my Pentium 4 PC. Not bad for 600 Mhz! :)

supposedly the XZ on a mips 5000 machine is a downgrade due to the MADD cpu instruction performance. I haven't tried mix/matching my indys but would be interested in your results.
