@yankees5297 thats true

@tmwalkerm I think she was better in every aspect on UB. Her consistency was off across the board but when she hit she's a much more complete gymnast than Atler. Not bashing on Nessa she was a phenomenal gymnast as well. Too bad neither of the ever reached their potential.
-
@lostlyrarose yeah I guess so, at least as far as consistency goes Moceanu was better. Although Moceanu was injured whereas Atler wasn't, they could have used her on the other 3 events.
-
@tmwalkerm Gotta disagree. Moceanu was far more capable on bars by then.
-
@lostlyrarose Atler was much better on bars than Moceanu, especially considering how much she usually struggles with bars, at least she stayed on and didn't fall off.

This music is from Riverdance...excellent choice!

@rballettom I know, and this music suits her perfectly now. She grew up to be so graceful and elegant, no more cutesy little girl.

I wonder why she did not attempt double saltos anymore. She used to have the power and the skills. In 1995 she was trying double layouts and her piked full-ins were always great. It's sad she did not have the chance to really peak.

@kwan4life No, she was given credit for her triple on day 1. The reason her day 1 score is lower than day 2 is because this meet used Competition III rules (normally reserved for EF) requiring your last pass contain an element of at least a D rating. She and Luminita weren't aware of this until she got her day 1 score. So she switched the order of her 2nd and 3rd passes to fulfill the requirement. The hardest element in her typical end pass is a front full (C). The triple full is an E.
I thought she was better than atler at this comp. and I thought atler was overscored. but both of them couldn't complete a solid bar routine, though moceanu had at the goodwills.
