  • Oh My Goddness!! Bless Mark Owen for reading such a beautiful and moving piece of poetry, it touched my heart! And Bless his most beautiful face! :) ... For those of you who would like to know, this is a poem from 1938 by W. H. Auden, it's titled "Funeral Blues" also called "Stop all the clocks." Wonderful, simply wonderful!

  • Bless you BBC.

  • @SejeCilie Thank you very much.

  • @Maryinka94 It was written by W.H. Auden and it's called Funeral Blues.

  • Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone (W. H. Auden) Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone, Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone, Silence the pianos and with muffled drum Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

  • WOW!

  • Please, can anyone tell me what is the name of this poem? It's so beautiful and Mark, of course, too.

  • awww that was really nice the way he did that poem, I heard that in Four Weddings & A Funeral as well, when that old guy dies (cant remember character's name)
