Finally! I've been getting requests for makeup tutorials for a looong time and I've finally gotten around to making one. I thought I would show you my favorite look for my very first one. This is pretty much my go-to look these days: It's basically a pin up style face. I've gotten a lot of requests for this particular look so I hope this helps all of you that asked!

*This is also very similar to what I do for "Ariel" and "Snow White" makeup. It works well for characters. The only changes would be a slightly thinner line on the eyeliner, a bit more blush, and of course for Snow making the brows match accordingly.

(and oops! I forgot to line my waterline with white/pearl pencil. It really makes your eyes "wake up." My bad! Try that trick with this look-you'll love it!)

Key Products:

Start with a good set of makeup brushes...I love M.A.C.'s but I've found some decent ones at Sally Beauty Supply and Ulta Stores.

M.A.C. Studio Tech foundation (Good for lots of coverage. I also just recently bought their Liquid Studio Fix foundation and I love it! It works great with their foundation primer).

Loose Powder (Cover girl or Maybelline is fine)

M.A.C. blush in Peaches and Pink Swoon

A white/ivory/pearly shadow. (I think the one I used here is by Maybelline...I wish I could use all M.A.C. products but a starving artist like me can't always afford the good stuff! Lol. I always recommend M.A.C. products over drugstore brands, but of course you can supplement with lesser products and still look good!)

A light brown shadow (I used M.A.C.'s Kid)

A darker brown shadow (I used M.A.C.'s Cork)

Black Liquid Liner (I used one I picked up at Sally's...not sure of the brand name but I'm not all that happy with it so I'd recommend something else. If you have more $ to spend try M.A.C's fluid line. I am saving up for that one! It works great!)

Black mascara (I am devoted to every makeup artist's favorite...good old Maybelline Great Lash! I like it in "Blackest Black")

False Lashes (I hunt local wig stores for the best false lashes at the best prices, but even CVS has some decent ones. These particular ones in this video are half lashes and sit just at the edges of your lashes giving an awesome cat eye effect. If you can't find these then you can create your own with full lashes. Simply cut them in half and voila! 2 sets! One more dramatic and one more demure. You can trim the lashes (only on the inner corner!!!) to blend them into your own lashes better. Always trim them before putting them on haha.

Lash Glue (I prefer the black colored glue, which is a little harder to find. I get mine at wig stores or Sally Beauty Supply. The clear works fine too, just make sure you go over the glue with your liquid liner to make sure you hide it well. Oh! And make sure you buy the glue that is made for lash STRIPS not individual lashes. Individuals are a whole different ballgame. I'll save that for another tutorial..)

Red lip liner-make sure you sharpen it well before using! (I like M.A.C.'s Cherry. It makes for a very bright red lip)

Red lipstick (My favorite is M.A.C.'s Russian Red. It's been recommended by so many beauty magazines and sales girls I had to try it and it is fantastic! It's matte and stays on all day long. Works well with the primer too. If you don't have primer, use foundation over your lips before applying the lip liner and lipstick).

A huge thanks to the awesome musicians that so kindly let me use their music for this video!
