I shot this video back in college. This was my favorite band at the time, they played some sweet blues music. The band is no longer together and Gibb is going solo. Not my cup of tea anymore.
I was turned on to GDB back in the day by a good friend. This band could flat out rock your world!!! I stood in the rain in Williamsburg for five hours once to see GDB do a 30 minute set. Got the flu. And IT WAS WORTH IT! Gibb is just the nicest guy who ever walked. After meeting him for the first time he remembered and would greet me every time we saw him. Standup guy. Mike Williams the drummer? Same thing. Mike, you are a monster! I miss this band even now.
Saw Gibb for the first time in wilmington nc in the 90's, early in his career. He played in an old movie theater with no more than 10 people in the audience, but you woulda thought he was playing for thousands. Absolutely amazing..........
saw them back in the day....Maybe 8 years or so. Played opening act for ARU in Boston at "Mamakin" a club that used to be owned by Aerosmith...bought their CD that night. as well as ARU's CD.
We used to hit some of the Jams together back in 94-95 in Va Beach I miss his talent and his presence !! Phil Diiorio! see me @ The Space /phildiimusic
One of my favorite bands of all time...The slow version of unfaithful woman from the first live cd is always on my favorites playlist. Sure do miss you guys. Come play together in Asheville!!!
wow, cool to find. BIG Gibber fan. still have my tee with his boggin and ghost face. too cool. dharma rules. saw him first in about 87. one of MANY. took my girl to the next show and said "watch the only man you'll ever see make love to a guitar." pure stoke.
One of your regular stops was here in Charleston,SC at The Music Farm. I was hanging out after the show and you asked me for a ride to the hotel you were staying at. It wasn't easy, but you were stuffed in the "no back seat" of my CRX. My smaller female friend offered to take the back, but you insisted. What a gentleman. LOL I hope you have been well.
@mkw30 I saw you guys play at WRV in va beach in the early 90s. I offered to help you set your kit up. Then I saw you at a Dom Famularo clinic, and you remembered me!
