this song is fantastic, the best!

...they were the People's band, so clever and so dextrous and yet ... so unknown. For some months - maybe a year or so - there was a radio craze in my Portuguese home country, all because of that Red Sun song and its hallucinating desert trumpets, but as it came so it went. Getting TWR lps here was really like digging a Spanish cave by the border. Anyway, we'll never forget the purest Americana band of the reaganera!...

Its time for a reunion tour guys! everybody's doing it!
-
My point exactly. Can't remember a decent Corgan song. TWR or Nirvana on the other hand...
-
Corgan? Corgan's a non-entity compared to that guy from Nirvana... Why'd HE get it?
-
Ah these guys were great i'm gonna have to dig out my old vinyls. Red sun was a favourite as i recall..

He's on Facebook.apparently my job and his are the same, so that would make him a librarian. Best to befriend him on FB then.

You could be right on the geology thing, but you know what I mean. Brilliant and ignored band. What was the pill that made Billy Corgan so special and why wasn't it given to Guy instead?
-
Agreed: Awesome. One of the most underrated and under-appreciated bands from that "era."
-
I think Guy is a geologist, but close enough. I believe he still plays, in a bluegrass band (my older brother is friends with him and his younger brother Jon). I'd love to know what Roger K is doing.

thanks for putting up the track
this band was one of the sacred goods of feedback
i wish so much i could see one more concert....

And to think Guy Kyser is a botanist now...Rock's loss is botany's gain.
